On May th 2021 was held the Multiplier Event of the European Erasmus+ OHAS Project, organised by the Italian partners of the project, Articity Association and the Perusia Archaeological Group (GAP) of the Archaeological Groups of Italy.
The Multiplier Event took place in the form of a conference entitled OPEN, from 9.30 am until 12:30 pm, at the “Sala dei Notari”, the large main hall of the Municipallity of Perugia in the heart of the city.
Articity invited all the main cultural associations for social promotion and GAP invited the main medium and small museums of the city and all the citizens as well. The event had great resonance and diffusion in our city seeing more than 90 people attending the event.
The Open Multiplier Event opened with the presentation of the European Erasmus+ OHAS Project and the obtained intellectual results were shared with the audience.
For the dissemination OPEN event were invited as speakers the Councillor of Culture Leonardo Varasano representing the Municipality of Perugia, the Director of the National Archaeological Museum of Umbria Maria Angela Turchetti, the Director of Carsulae Archaeological Site Silvia Casciarri, who also participated in the Output I of the European+ OHAS Project, Giorgina Drinoczi representing the Association of the Deaf A.U.S.R.U., Paolo Maria Vissani for Adam Accessibility Association who also shared with the audience the video of the Adam Accessibility Association on accessibility at archaeological sites https://vimeo.com/112416020, Rolando Marini for Amici della Vista Association, Giorgio Panduri for Moretti Caselli Glass Window Workshop Museum and Monica Grelli for Art Therapy Association. The LIS interpreter was present during the intervention.
During this meeting the local realities of associations and museums, cultural institutions and citizens were able to confront with each other on the subject of the accessibility in museums and cultural sites in a proactive way. The Mayor and the Councillor of Culture expressed their impression about the European+ OHAS Project’s objectives and results as well as for the great audience success and impact of the Multiplier Event.
